Overview
As Technical Subcontract Manager Electrical, you coordinate and oversee electrical subcontracted work packages within complex naval projects. You’ll align procurement, engineering, installation and testing to project requirements, quality, time and cost targets. You work closely with engineers, suppliers and project teams to integrate electrical systems and ensure contractual obligations are met throughout the lifecycle. This role puts you at the heart of delivering advanced naval capabilities, with a focus on technical coordination, risk management and cross-functional collaboration. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Managing and coordinating multiple electrical subcontractors and suppliers during preparation and execution of projects
- Owning the technical integration of electrical work packages and coordinating related activities
- Ensuring electrical products/services meet requirements, quality standards, and cost targets
- Securing execution and synchronization of subcontractor deliverables and contracts
- Organizing and participating in project reviews, monitoring progress, interfaces, risks and actions
- Participating as accepting party during contractual milestones and tests (FAT, HAT, SAT)
- Supporting technical and commercial evaluations, including cost analyses and warranty support
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 7-10 years (or Master with 5-7 years) of relevant experience
- Broad knowledge of electrical installations, preferably in ships/naval or offshore environments
- Proven experience coordinating engineers, suppliers, subcontractors and project managers in a complex setting
- Experience managing complex projects and subcontracted technical work packages
- Solid understanding of engineering concepts and electrical system integration
- Strong planning, organizational, and deadline management skills
- Decisive, proactive with good communication and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (IPMA is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Dutch and English; willing to travel/or work abroad
