ph3The Site Engineer /h3ulliReports to the Construction manager /liliIs working at the Vlissingen site (Smulders SPN). /liliEnsures together with the Construction manager that the main priorities, Safety and Quality, are guaranteed on site /liliIn charge of alignment with the Engineering team, acting as SPOC for engineering queries (mainly electromechanical) /liliWorks in a multidisciplinary teams together with, amongst others: welding coating inspectors, EI Mechanical inspectors, safety inspectors, outfitting engineers, design engineers, construction managers,… /liliSupports the Construction manager in management of the site team, as well as interactions with the EPC Contractor and Elia OM team. /liliHas technical (mainly electromechanical) ownership for issues during outfitting on site, escalating major issues to the Construction Manager /liliAct as the knowledge center/expert for all inspectors on site (incl. full knowledge of all contractor’s documents and ER’s/Employers document) /liliAct as a lead for quality topics on the yard (follow up of non-conformities, quality processes, …) /liliMaintain internal systems processes to manage incoming inspection reports of inspectors, to allow focussed and clear communication towards the EPC contractor and the site team. /liliCoordinates participates in inspections on site /liliParticipates in review of documents submitted by the contractor /liliCoordinates Elia vendors coming on site (together with the responsible project leaders and construction manager). /liliPrepare weekly and monthly reports (together with the construction lead) /liliSupport the team with diverse tasks: for example: cost benefit analysis of variants, … /li /ulh3Requirements: /h3h3Hard skills and soft skills: /h3ulliYou have at least 3 years of relevant working experienceulliExperience in the offshore sector is preferable. /liliExperience with topside outfitting is preferable. /liliExperience with multiple disciplines is preferable. /liliExperience with Quality Control/Assurance on a construction site is a plus. /li /ul /liliEducation: Engineering (Electrical and/or Electromechanical) /liliStructural or architectural expertise is a plus /liliPossess a VCA VOL/SCC for supervisor’s certificate. /liliShall comply with Elia’s PPE and training matrix. /liliExcellent MS Office skills (able to write well structured reports and manage incoming reports efficiently).
