ppAs a bConfiguration Management Engineer (mid-level) /b, you will be responsible for safeguarding the consistency, traceability, and reliability of product configurations throughout the full lifecycle — from initial proposal through delivery and follow-up. You will be central to engineering activities, shaping configuration processes, ensuring compliance with requirements, and enabling high technical standards across multiple projects. /pbr/h3Main Responsibilities /h3pIn this role, your key tasks will include: /pullipDefining and applying configuration management plans tailored to complex technical projects. /p /lilipSetting up and maintaining product structures, document registers, and project data environments. /p /lilipReviewing and validating technical data provided by customers and suppliers. /p /lilipEstablishing and monitoring change control procedures across departments. /p /lilipWorking with PDM/PLM systems (preferably 3DEXPERIENCE) to organize and manage data structures. /p /lilipOffering guidance and training to project teams on configuration practices. /p /lilipRecommending improvements and supporting the development of long-term configuration strategies. /p /lilipCoordinating with engineering, production, quality, and project management functions to ensure alignment. /p /li /ulh3Candidate Profile /h3pWe are looking for professionals with the following background: /pullipA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; experience in shipbuilding or related industries is an advantage. /p /lilipPractical experience in configuration management and familiarity with PDM/PLM systems (ideally 3DEXPERIENCE). /p /lilipUnderstanding of Systems Engineering methods and principles is preferred. /p /lilipStrong attention to detail and an analytical approach, especially when handling complex datasets. /p /lilipA structured and proactive working style, with a focus on continuous improvement. /p /lilipExcellent communication skills and the ability to present technical data clearly and effectively. /p /lilipFluency in English (both spoken and written); Dutch language skills are considered a plus. /p /lilipExclusive EU citizenship with a valid EU passport (a requirement due to project-related security restrictions). /p /lilipPlease note: applicants holding work visas, dual nationality, or non-EU citizenship cannot be considered for this role. /p /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
