We are part of the Damen Shipyards Group with more than 12,000 professionals globally. /p h3Your role /h3 pAs Head Customer Care, you are responsible for the planning, coaching, development, evaluation, and deployment of our Field Service Engineers. You ensure that the department meets its quality standards and delivery reliability. Additionally, you facilitate the timely availability of essential resources such as tools, training, and personal protective equipment, enabling our engineers to perform their work effectively. /p pYou report both hierarchically and functionally to the Director Sales. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liLead the Customer Care team and ensure optimal staffing within the department. /li liCoach and develop team members, coordinate training programs, and conduct performance reviews. /li liEvaluate and update job profiles periodically for team members. /li liAssess and plan the deployment of Field Service Engineers based on availability and individual strengths. /li liMonitor the quality of work performed and follow up on feedback from engineers and project managers. /li liTrack project status and intervene when necessary to ensure progress and delivery. /li liEnsure the availability of required tools and materials for field operations. /li liInitiate and follow up on improvement proposals at both tactical and strategic levels. /li liMaintain relationship and communicate on owners/owners team level. /li liResponsible for managing the more complex files within the department. /li /ul h3Skills and experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s level of working and thinking. /li liAt least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in shipbuilding and planning. /li liProven leadership skills and experience in coaching and team development. /li liPragmatic, persuasive, and strong in coordination. /li liExcellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written. /li liExperience in process improvement and operational team management. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pAt Damen Yachting, we value our people and support your professional and personal development.
