Are you ready for duty? /ph3The role /h3pAre you the bridge between Business and IT? Do you excel in optimizing engineering processes through innovative applications? If so, we want you! As a Functional Application Specialist, you will support the engineering functionalities in our Computer Aided Design platform, with a special focus on Cadmatic Hull, across the product lifecycle process. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across our engineering processes, making a tangible impact on our projects. /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliTranslate engineering business needs into functional specifications for the application developments. /liliAnalyze issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devise solutions. /liliDevelop and implement application processes and functionalities. /liliMaintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners. /liliManage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Hull. /liliMaintain user access rights administration within the application. /liliSetup and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull. /liliManage catalogs, libraries, specifications, and other project related data setup. /liliOrganize application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support. /liliProvide functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Cadmatic Hull. /liliPrepare and develop Cadmatic training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals. /li /ulh3Skills Experience /h3ulliBachelor degree or proven competence in engineering, preferably in the field of Shipbuilding. /liliProficiency with Cadmatic platform /liliKnowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management is preferred /liliExcellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous. /liliAbility to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands. /liliExcellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3pAt Damen Naval, we highly value our employees, and we will support your professional and personal development.
