The RoleAs an Engineer Marine Piping Systems, you will play a key role in the design and engineering of advanced piping systems for high‐end naval vessels. You will be responsible for analysing technical specifications, developing engineering packages, and ensuring that integrated piping solutions meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful execution of complex maritime projects.

Key Accountabilities

Analyse and Assess Specifications: Review technical requirements for piping systems and ensure alignment with project needs, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.

Engineering Package Development: Set up and model basic engineering packages for piping systems within a 3D environment, following established engineering standards and regulations.

Detailed Engineering & Production Support: Develop detailed engineering packages and production deliverables based on the basic design, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Update engineering packages as needed and provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.

Multidisciplinary Interaction: Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated piping solutions fit seamlessly within the overall vessel design.

Project Design Reviews: Identify potential risks or issues, recommend improvements, and support design review sessions.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure all engineering outputs comply with applicable requirements and contribute to knowledge development within the department.

Skills & Experience

A relevant technical Bachelor's or Master's degree, combined with at least three years of experience in piping systems engineering, ideally within shipbuilding or offshore environments.

Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software and hands‐on experience with modelling and designing complex piping systems.

Experience working on high‐end vessels, managing complex technical projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.

Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Strong professional references, as pre‐employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment process.

Permanent EU citizenship and an EU passport are mandatory. Candidates with an EU work visa or dual EU/non‐EU nationality do not meet the eligibility criteria due to project requirements.
