You can be part of this team, are you ready for duty? /p pbThe role /b /p pAs a bMedior Engineer Configuration Management /b, you ensure the consistency, traceability, and integrity of product configuration throughout the entire vessel lifecycle — from proposal to delivery and beyond. Your position is central to the engineering organisation, guiding configuration processes, ensuring compliance, and enabling technical excellence across projects. /p pbKey responsibilities /b /p pIn this role, you will: /p ul liDefine and implement configuration management plans for complex naval or maritime projects. /li liSet up and maintain product structures, master document lists, and digital data environments. /li liValidate incoming and outgoing technical data from customers and suppliers. /li liEnsure strong change‑control processes and monitor correct implementation across departments. /li liWork within PDM/PLM environments (preferably 3DX) to organise and manage complex datasets. /li liProvide guidance and training to project teams on configuration management practices. /li liIdentify improvement opportunities and contribute to future‑proof configuration strategies. /li liCollaborate with stakeholders across engineering, production, quality, and project management. /li /ul pbSkills experience /b /p pWe are looking for candidates with: /p ul liA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with experience in shipbuilding or maritime industries. /li liProven experience in configuration management and familiarity with PDM/PLM systems (ideally 3DX). /li liA solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles. /li liStrong attention to detail and an analytical mindset, especially when managing complex data. /li liA proactive, structured way of working with a focus on continuous improvement. /li liExcellent communication skills and the ability to interpret and present technical data clearly. /li liGood command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage. /li liPermanent EU citizenship and passport (required for defence‑related projects). /li liCandidates with an EU work visa or dual EU/non‑EU nationality are not eligible due to project requirements. /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p pWe value our employees and support both professional and personal development.
