MULTI.engineering is currently looking for a Naval Engineer Hydrostatics & Weight Control for a long term project at our client’s location in The Netherlands.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Perform ship design calculations focusing on weight control and hydrostatics;
- Utilize ship design software (e.g., PIAS stability software);
- Conduct inclining tests and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and shipyards;
- Contribute to R&D, proposals, and engineering, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Profile
Technical Knowledge & Soft Skills
- You have a bachelor degree in Engineering, Maritime or in another technical field;
- You have a minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar position;
- You have experience in the Maritime and/or offshore industry;
- You have excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
- You have European citizenship.
